Leopard
We were fortunate to see a leopard that had dragged his kill up the tree.
He was feasting on the head of an adult gazelle. After a while he went
to a higher brance and fell fast asleep. 2011

Wildebeest
Driving along we had to make a sudden stop as there was a column of wildebeest running across the road. They just
kept coming and coming and running and running in a
continuous stream cross the plains into the horizon. This

Mother and Cub
Among the many highlights during the drive, one especially
memorable one was a lioness sitting beside the road with
her month old cub completely unconcerned that we were
parked close to her and her cub.

Tarangire national park
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK 2011
This park has the largest elephant population in northern Tanzania,
approximately 250,000. Up close elephant viewing here is outstanding
especially with an abundance of baby elephants.
